A First!

A while back I went on a shopping spree at Weeds and Wildflowers and I have been wanting to do some scrapping w/ my finds....but kept putting it off. All it took was a little nudging and then I saw that Angie was hosting a challenge! It was really really good motivation! All items are from Seeing Stars Kit except the word art which is from Believing in You and the Wire word is from Playing w/ Wire....all by Weeds and Wildflowers!! Template 115 by Andrea Gold!

This was the first time that Logan stood alone with out holding on to anything. He was nervous and excited at the same time!!

We hope you will join us at www.godigitalscrapbooking.com for our Grand Opening!! Also be sure to check out the information below as we are looking for our own creative teams!

CT Call & Freebie!

Wahoo! We're up and running, with two freebies! Theresa and I both created mini kits for you (keep reading to catch the links - you don't have to participate in the CT Call to get the freebie)!!! Hope you enjoy them!

As you may know, Theresa and I (this is Amy speaking) are very new to the designing world! But as everyone knows, all designers need a great Creative Team! We're hosting our first CT call now through Sunday. Please download the free mini kits above here and here and make either one page using both kits, or one for each kit (which would make 2 total). Upload to your best gallery and link us up! You can email your links, your DST username, and your real name to: alfenner at hotmail dot com!
All information needs to be received by midnight central time on Sunday, August 5th. We will make our announcement here on or before Tuesday, August 7th! Layouts may include other designers' products, just as long as the majority of the layout is done with our designs!

Here are our CT requirements:

~ Set up a profile with Hello. This is the easiest way for us to share things with you, and will be how we get you the product.

~ Create one layout for each new product we release. This means if we happen to release two in one week (not expected), you can use both products in your layout, but you must do two (one for each product). These should be done within a week of receiving the product, and should be 90% our designs.

~ We would like your layouts to be posted in at least 4 galleries: goDigitalScrapbooking.com, digishoptalk.com, and two of your choice, one of which must allow links to our store(s). GDS and DST entries must have direct links to the product in our store (we will provide you with the links in our New Products thread with the preview when we release a product). We also ask that you post your layout to the team blog (coming soon).
Please post your gallery links in your thread so we can see what you've been up to!

~ Digishoptalk has a thread entitled CTM Enabling thread, new each day, in the chatter section. We would like each of you to post in that thread, with a preview of the product, each time we have a new release.

~ Also at digishoptalk when we release a new product we will post an announcement in the Designer Announcement forum.........we would love it if you could help us keep those bumped (we're not allowed to), and we'll provide a link to those threads in our forums here.

~ Sport our blinkies and wear them with pride!

~ Check in at our CT forums at least weekly, so we can get you information and we can all get to know each other!

Can't wait to see what you all come up with! We are designing better things everyday -- you won't be disappointed!

It's been a while!

Wow, it's been a while since I posted here. So much has been going on in life. What can I say, life happens and time flies...June was busy as we were preparing for vacation, on vacation and recovering from vacation! Levi and I went to Chicago for our 5 year wedding anniversary! It was a blast. Chicago is my new favorite city. I was shocked at how clean, friendly and easy to navigate the city was. Everyone was super nice and it didn't seem as if people were in a hurry. What a neat city. There was so much to see and do and everything was easy to find. We were on the go sometimes from 7:30 to midnight. Talk about trying to take it all in. I told Levi next year we'll have to do another nice vacation since we'll be celebrating a total of 10 years together. WOW. We're hoping to get back to Europe next summer. It's been five years since we were abroad and boy do we ever want to get back to Europe.. Anywhere would be nice.

July has proven to be just as busy. The fourth was great. We had a nice get together at Levi's Grandparent's. We swam in the lake until the thunderstorm rolled in. After it passed we shot off a few fireworks...nothing major... The boys had a ball with their little snap and pop fireworks. Later we took the boat out onto the lake and watched the fireworks. They were beautiful as always. You know the one time I forgot to charge the battery in my camera....was the 4th of July. I was albe to get a few pics but it died just as we were headed out to watch the firework show. Go figure!

I've also been busy in the digi world. Since I've been on the Supreme Team for GDS I've been making such fun layouts with the kits that the designers have so generously given us. GDS is the most generous and fun community that I've been too on the web. I also just made Creative Team Member for Andrea Gold another fantastic Digital Scrapbook Designer. I'm just having tooo much fun! I was so happy that she picked me as one of her CT members.

Just today I registered with a fellow Supreme Team Memeber, Jill, to take part in the Amazing Digi Scrapping Race. This shall prove to be exciting and fun... Hopefully we'll win! Wouldn't that be great!

Okay now on to a few fun things; layouts and products.

The layout below was done using Andrea Gold's Miss Mykelle Kit and Add on Pack. You can pick it up here!

This was done using Doreen Stolz's Boys Will Be Boys Kit which can be found here!

A few more LOs

This my round three submission. This awesome kit is by Yin Designs. I had a lot of fun working with this one!

This was my round four and final submission for the competition. This kit is by Rebecca Gold. It's another beautiful kit to work with and once again there were SO many amazing entries. I don't have any girls so I was terribly worried. Luckily I remembered I had these pictures of my boys playing dress-up with their friend. Boy will this be some blackmail.

I was completely shocked to see that I had been chosen with 12 other ladies from this round to be on the Supreme Team. Thanks Designers. I have made so many friends at GDS and want you all to know how warm and inviting that community is!

Here are a few other LOs I've done recently!

This template and kit Color Pop are by Andrea Gold. This LO was for the Lyrical Challenge.
Introducing my new nephew Cameron. He's such a cutie. The kit I used is by Doreen Stolz Daydreams. It was so great being there at the hospital and getting to be one of the first to see him.

Kit: Dani b-designs doodle-blabla arabesque

Kit: Candy Blossom DD Jessica Alger and TIA-Gardens alpah and floral paper, Template by Andrea Gold.

Well this should do it for now! I've been busy!

I'm a Supreme! I made it!!! and...some Layouts!

Wow, can you believe it? The contest is over! Along with twelve other lucky ladies, I made it onto the Supreme Team (Creative Team) at www.godigitalscrapbooking.com . Yep ME! I was completely shocked each round to see my name come across to the next round and even more shocked to learn last night that I too was chosen for this team. For the next four months I'll be creating layouts using designs from the fabulous designers at GDS. Please check out my gallery! The link can be found to the right!

Okay, now on to the layouts.

This is my round one LO for the Supreme Team contest. I absolutely loved this beautiful kit *Making Music* by Andrea Gold. You all know how much I love to bang on the piano!

This is my round two submission. The kit is Paisley Crazy by Jessica Alger. A fun kit to work with. I honestly didn't think I'd make it past this round. Boy am I glad I did. This is my sister with my youngest son. I made this LO to honor her as she was going to give birth to her first son the next day!

This LO was done using Andrea Gold's Retro-Revival Kit found at www.godigitalscrapbooking.com

Not my best LO but I'm a little bored today and not feeling crazy creative. I scraplifted from plopper Rhonna Farrer Free March Pea Kit Plopper and used elements from her kit. Maybe I'll get back in the swing of things soon! LOL

My Sisters

After doing as much as I could stand in the basement cleanup project, I decided to create a LO for the Sketch Challenge at GDS. I have to say joining this group has been great. Not only are all the ladies welcoming but they are all so supportive of each other and always willing to answer questions. This is such a great community. On top of it all, joining GDS has helped me get on the ball and get a few pages done. Here's my LO.

Credits: Template by: Okblues and the kit is Amy Kropp's Stay for Tea kit. Thanks ladies.

Rainy Days

Wow, we've had so much rain here. Talk about catching a case of cabin fever. Our yard is flooded with spots of standing water and our poor basement has sprung a few tiny leaks. Luckily Saturday we had a short break from the rain an we were able to get outdoors. We took the kids to the zoo and really had the chance to enjoy the outdoors a little. So far I've only scrapped one picture from our outing.

The template is by: twriljoy and the kit Morining Sunshine: by Digital Divas Designs.

I'm having to much fun with this kit!

I am so proud of myself that I have actually been allotting time in my day to make a page or too. I'm having such a good time with this kit from Weeds and Wildflowers that I just can't resist making more pages.
